Nguyen Hoang Khanh (Jennifer) – Valedictorian of TAS – is a shining example of a comprehensive international education model where students are nurtured academically, artistically, and in their leadership capacities. With a solid foundation built throughout her years at TAS – a dynamic and modern international education environment – Jennifer officially received her acceptance letter from the University of California, Davis (UC Davis), where she will pursue her passion for Design through the University Honors Program for top-performing students.

Beyond UC Davis, Jennifer also earned valuable scholarships from two of the most prestigious design and architecture schools in the United States:
- Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) – 68,000 USD
- Otis College of Art and Design – 96,000 USD

University of California, Davis (UC Davis)

Building a Strong Academic Foundation with Creative Thinking
As a student oriented toward Design and Architecture, Jennifer focused on strengthening her expertise through the AP program, especially AP Art – a space where she demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, and personal creativity. In an international education environment, students are not only exposed to knowledge but are encouraged to ask questions, experiment with ideas, and apply theory to practice – a crucial foundation in today’s creative industries. At TAS, the spirit of international education is reflected in how the school cultivates independent thinking and multifaceted application.

Leadership Roles and Community Engagement Add Depth to Her Profile
Jennifer’s scholarship portfolio stands out not only for academic achievements but also for diverse leadership experiences: Secretary General of TAS Student Council, President of MUN, Charity, and Sustainability Clubs. These highlights are common among students from an international education background, where universities highly value skills in management, collaboration, and social responsibility – all essential for the 21st century. It is within this international education setting that students like Jennifer are challenged, guided, and shaped through real-life leadership opportunities.

TAS Supports Holistic Growth — From Academics to Individual Identity
The international education model at TAS goes beyond a U.S.-standard curriculum by integrating a personalized academic advisory system. Jennifer received guidance in building a learning journey aligned with her strengths, engaging in meaningful projects, and developing her capabilities, which shone through in her essays, portfolio, and scholarship interviews. Thanks to clear direction, close mentorship, and real-world experience – all core elements of international education – Jennifer confidently crafted a personal profile that stood out even to the most selective admission committees.

Jennifer’s success didn’t result from a single factor but from the synergy of a well-designed international education system, one that prioritizes holistic development and empowers each student to maximize their potential. Her story is also a powerful testament to the values TAS promotes – where every student is prepared to grow confidently and step into the world with clarity and strength.
